Repetitor is a seminal Serbian noise rock trio formed in Belgrade in 2005, consisting of Boris Vlastelica (guitar/vocals), Milena Milutinović (drums), and Ana-Marija Cupin (bass/vocals). Emerging as the spearhead of the 'New Serbian Scene' (Nova srpska scena), they bridged the gap between the legendary Yugoslav New Wave (Šarlo Akrobata, Ekatarina Velika) and contemporary European noise rock.
Their sound is characterized by a high-gain, minimalist approach that draws heavily from the 1980s American underground (Sonic Youth, Fugazi) and the raw power of early garage rock.
