Formed in San Diego in 1998, Pinback is an American indie rock band featuring multi-instrumentalists Rob Crow and Armistead Burwell Smith IV. As the group's two constant members, the pair have written and recorded five studio albums along with various other projects. The band currently releases music through the label Temporary Residence Limited, maintaining a consistent creative partnership that has defined their sound for over two decades.
