High-velocity Miami bass meets chaotic breakcore. A sensory overload of glitchy beats, distorted subs, and surreal horror-kitsch energy for the adventurous ear.
Otto von Schirach sounds like a computer having a colorful, violent seizure in the middle of a Miami block party. It is a relentless barrage of hyper-edited breakbeats, bone-rattling sub-bass, and digital artifacts that shouldn't be catchy but somehow are. The music carries a manic, cartoonish energy that feels both dangerous and deeply absurd, blending the technical precision of IDM with the raw, trunk-thumping power of Florida bass culture.
What truly sets him apart is the 'Triangle Earth' mythology and his embrace of a heavy metal persona within an electronic framework. While his peers might lean into cold, academic glitch, Otto leans into the grotesque and the theatrical. You'll hear vocal samples pitched into alien registers, sudden shifts into grindcore-adjacent noise, and rhythmic patterns that feel like they are actively trying to dismantle your speakers. It is maximalism in its most chaotic, tropical form.
Start with 'Chopped Zombie Fungus' or 'Global Speaker Fisting' to experience his peak era of rhythmic destruction. These records perfectly capture his ability to turn digital noise into a high-energy, albeit terrifying, dance floor experience. It is not for the faint of heart, but for those who crave sonic extremity with a sense of humor, there is nothing else like it.
