Formed in Los Angeles in 1997, Orgy is an American industrial rock and nu metal group featuring frontman Jay Gordon. Signed to Reprise Records, the band achieved commercial recognition with their 1998 debut album, Candyass, which included the popular single Stitches and a notable cover of Blue Monday. They continued their musical output in 2000 with the release of their second studio record, Vapor Transmission, spawning singles like Opticon and Eva.
