Formed in 2008 in Denton, Texas, Neon Indian is an American synth-pop project spearheaded by musician Alan Palomo. Often associated with the rise of the chillwave genre, the group gained critical attention with their 2009 debut album, Psychic Chasms. Following this success, the band released two additional studio records, Era Extraña and Vega Intl. Night School, through Fader Label, solidifying their place as a notable act in modern electronic music.
