Intro

Nat & Alex Wolff create music that feels like a private conversation between brothers that the listener is lucky enough to overhear. Their sound is anchored by a sophisticated understanding of melody, often leaning into piano-driven arrangements that recall the classic songwriting of the 1970s but filtered through a modern, slightly moody indie lens. There is a palpable warmth in their recordings, even when the subject matter turns toward the melancholic or existential.

What truly distinguishes them is the 'blood harmony' effect, a natural vocal synchronization that only siblings seem to achieve. Their voices weave together with a precision that feels both effortless and deeply emotional. Unlike their early television-adjacent work, their mature catalog embraces complex textures, including cinematic strings and atmospheric production that creates a sense of space and time, often evoking the feeling of a late night in New York City.

Start with the album 'Table For Two' to hear their most refined and adult sound. It showcases their ability to blend raw vulnerability with high-level musicianship. For those who prefer a more guitar-oriented, energetic approach, 'Black Sheep' serves as a perfect bridge from their pop roots into the more experimental and rock-influenced territory they occupy today.

Nat & Alex Wolff are an American pop rock duo from New York City, consisting of actor and musician siblings, Nat and Alex Wolff. The siblings' musical efforts were initially discovered during their work on the Nickelodeon television series The Naked Brothers Band, which was created and produced by their mother, actress Polly Draper. It was adapted from the self-titled mockumentary film that Draper wrote and directed. The duo's initial teen pop boy band called "The Naked Brothers Band" was depicted as part of its participation in their Nickelodeon series that aired from 2007 to 2009.
