Nae'blis

Nae'blis creates a sonic space that is profoundly lonely and intentionally cold. It is the sound of the Swedish wilderness in the dead of winter, where the beauty is inseparable from the harshness. The music often moves at a mid-tempo crawl, favoring long, repetitive guitar cycles that aim for a trance-like state rather than technical aggression. It is deeply rooted in the depressive black metal tradition but avoids the more histrionic tropes of the genre in favor of a steady, suffocating atmosphere.

What sets this project apart is the way Magnus Wohlfart uses space and texture. The production often feels submerged, as if the music is being played in the next room or under a layer of ice. This distance creates a sense of voyeurism or detachment that heightens the emotional weight.
