Bleak, danceable post-punk from Belarus. Cold synths and motoric drum machines create a haunting, brutalist atmosphere perfect for late-night urban wandering.
Formed in Minsk in 2017, the Belarusian trio Molchat Doma creates music blending post-punk, coldwave, synth-pop, and new wave. The group, consisting of Egor Shkutko, Roman Komogortsev, and Pavel Kozlov, gained international recognition following early self-released projects and albums issued via Detriti Records. After signing with Sacred Bones Records in 2020, the band expanded its reach into North America, continuing to produce studio albums that define their signature dark, atmospheric sound.
