High-energy pop punk with theatrical flair and polished hooks. It is the sound of a summer road trip and the rush of a front-row concert experience.
Make Out Monday delivers a punchy, neon-lit version of pop punk that feels both nostalgic and modern. Their sound is defined by massive, sing-along choruses, driving guitar riffs, and a polished production style that leans into the theatrical. There is an inherent sense of fun and urgency in their music, capturing the high-stakes emotions of youth and romance with a professional sheen.
What sets them apart is the vocal chemistry between brothers Jeremy and Zack Shada. Their harmonies are tight and intuitive, lending a melodic richness to the aggressive instrumentation. While they clearly pull from the 2000s mall-punk era, they incorporate elements of modern alternative pop and indie rock, resulting in a sound that feels larger than a typical garage band.
Start with 'Visions of Hollywood' or their debut EP 'Kicking Cars'. These tracks showcase their ability to balance raw energy with infectious pop sensibilities, making them a perfect entry point for anyone who grew up on the Warped Tour circuit but wants something fresh and vibrant.
