Formed in Antibes, France, in 2001, M83 is an electronic music project led by songwriter and vocalist Anthony Gonzalez. The group blends synth-pop, dream pop, and electronic rock, drawing stylistic inspiration from Vangelis. Throughout nine studio albums, Gonzalez has collaborated with various musicians, including Kaela Sinclair and Morgan Kibby. The project achieved significant international recognition with the 2011 Grammy-nominated release Hurry Up, We're Dreaming and its popular single Midnight City.
