Møme, the project of French producer Jérémy Souillart, represents a pivotal bridge between the 'French Touch' legacy and the global chillwave movement of the 2010s. Emerging from Nice, Souillart redefined the producer's role by adopting a nomadic lifestyle, most notably during a six-month Australian expedition in a converted Renault Master van.

This period birthed his signature sound: a synthesis of melodic house, downtempo, and live instrumentation, specifically surf-inspired electric guitar. His 2016 debut 'Panorama' and the triple-diamond single 'Aloha' cemented his status as a leader in the 'chill-electronic' space alongside peers like Petit Biscuit and FKJ. Critically, he is noted for his 'Moment' series, which serves as a sonic travelogue of locations like Bali and Los Angeles. His evolution has seen him move from pure chillwave into more disco-funk and synth-pop territories, particularly on the 2021 collaboration 'Flashback FM' with Ricky Ducati.
