Intro

M. M. Keeravani creates music that feels like it was carved out of stone and then polished to a high-gloss shine. His sound is defined by a massive, widescreen sense of scale, where traditional Indian instruments meet a full Western orchestra. Whether he is composing a high-octane action theme or a delicate devotional hymn, there is an underlying muscularity to his arrangements that demands your full attention.

What truly sets him apart is his versatility across linguistic and tonal borders. Under his alias M. M. Kreem, he mastered the art of the 'noir' Bollywood ballad, characterized by breathy vocals and melancholic piano. Yet, in his work for epic blockbusters, he utilizes thunderous percussion and complex choral stacking to create a sense of mythic inevitability. He has a rare ability to make a song feel both ancient and technologically cutting-edge.

Start with the Baahubali: The Beginning soundtrack to experience his mastery of the epic. For a completely different side of his artistry, listen to the Jism soundtrack, which showcases his ability to craft intimate, seductive, and deeply melodic soundscapes that defined an era of Hindi cinema.
