Luckhaos

Luckhaos is a conceptual musical project created by Lucas Martins, a Brazilian educator who developed the persona as a satirical critique of internet toxicity and the 'no-limits' attitude of unmonitored youth in digital spaces. Emerging in the late 2010s, Luckhaos became the face of the 'shittrap' movement in Brazil, a subgenre that utilizes intentionally abrasive production, distorted vocals, and controversial, often absurdist lyrics to mock contemporary rap tropes and online behavior.

The project's discography, largely comprised of the 'Shittrap' series, evolved from simple meme-rap into a complex, multi-layered commentary on nihilism and digital identity. Critically, Luckhaos is viewed as a pioneer of 'post-irony' in the Brazilian music scene, influencing a wave of artists like YUNG LIXO and Kleberiano. Despite the offensive nature of the lyrics, the project is underpinned by a sophisticated understanding of social dynamics, making it a unique case study in musical performance art within the hip-hop framework.
