Intro

Lorenzo Fragola delivers a sound that is quintessentially Mediterranean modern pop, balancing the organic intimacy of a singer-songwriter with the high-gloss production of contemporary R&B. His music often centers on the interplay between a crisp acoustic guitar and his versatile, soul-inflected voice, which moves easily from a vulnerable whisper to a soaring, melodic falsetto. It is music that feels bright, airy, and emotionally accessible.

What sets Fragola apart from his talent-show contemporaries is a specific rhythmic sensibility and a penchant for 'golden hour' atmospheres. While many Italian pop stars lean into heavy melodrama, Fragola often opts for a lighter, more rhythmic touch, incorporating subtle electronic textures and bluesy undertones that suggest a deep appreciation for international pop trends without losing his Italian lyrical identity.

For those new to his catalog, starting with his debut '1995' offers the purest distillation of his rise to fame, while the later 'Bengala' shows a more mature, experimental side. It is the perfect soundtrack for moments that require a blend of romanticism and modern energy, working equally well for a focused afternoon or a relaxed social gathering.

Lorenzo Fragola (born 26 April 1995) is an Italian singer-songwriter. He rose to fame after winning the eighth season of the Italian talent show X Factor. His winner's single, "The Reason Why", debuted atop the Italian Singles Chart, and was later certified double platinum by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry. Fragola competed both in the 65th and 66th Sanremo Music Festival, performing the songs "Siamo uguali" and "Infinite volte", and placing tenth and fifth, respectively. Both his debut album 1995, released in Italy on 31 March 2015, and its follow-up, Zero Gravity (2016) debuted atop the Italian Albums Chart.
