The regional accent adds a rhythmic, percussive quality to the vocals that standard Norwegian lacks, grounding their existential and philosophical lyrics in a very specific sense of place. The production, especially on later albums, introduces sophisticated textures like vibraphone and mellotron, adding a psychedelic sheen to their indie rock roots.

Kråkesølv (initiated in December 2007) is a rock band from Bodø Municipality in Norway. The name is taken from a tune by the hardcore band Hjertesorg (also from Bodø), in which Fredrik William Olsen and Thomas Litangen played.
