Kelis Rogers is an American singer-songwriter and chef who emerged in the late 1990s. A graduate of New York’s LaGuardia High School, she performed with the Girls Choir of Harlem and backed the group Gravediggaz. After collaborating with The Neptunes, she signed with Virgin Records and debuted on the charts via Ol' Dirty Bastard’s single Got Your Money. Her 1999 debut, Kaleidoscope, blended jazz and disco influences across neo soul and hip-hop.
