Intricate vocal harmonies and driving acoustic guitars that feel like a long conversation with an old friend. Earnest, melodic folk rock for the soul.
Formed in Atlanta in 1985, the Indigo Girls are an American duo featuring Amy Ray and Emily Saliers. The pair blends folk rock, American folk, and alternative rock. After signing with Epic Records in 1988 and releasing nine major-label albums, they transitioned to self-production in 2009 through their own company, IG Recordings. Beyond their collaborative work, both members pursue individual professional interests in music production and the restaurant industry.
