Steven Adam Markowitz, professionally known as Hoodie Allen, is an American hip-hop artist from Plainview, New York. After leaving a position at Google, he pursued music full-time as an independent artist. Recognized for his contributions to the frat rap subgenre, Allen achieved commercial success with his 2012 EP All American and his 2014 studio album People Keep Talking, which featured the Billboard Hot 100 hit All About It alongside Ed Sheeran.
