Isimeme Naomi Udu, professionally known as hemlocke springs, is an American singer, songwriter, and producer. Her music blends indie pop, lo-fi, and synth-pop, heavily influenced by 1980s and 2000s aesthetics. After gaining viral attention on TikTok for her self-produced track Girlfriend, she released her 2023 debut EP, Going...Going...Gone!. Recognized for her whimsical style and colorful wigs, Udu began her career while pursuing postgraduate medical studies at Dartmouth College.
