Hello Psychaleppo is the project of Samer Saem Eldahr, a Syrian artist and producer who pioneered the genre often referred to as 'Electro-Tarab.' His debut album 'Gool L'Ah' (2013) was a landmark release in the Arab independent scene, successfully bridging the gap between classical maqam structures and contemporary club culture. His sound identity is defined by the use of vintage vocal samples, intricate percussion programming, and quarter-tone synth work.
