Dense, blown-out walls of sound that feel like a transmission from a dying world. Lo-fi shoegaze for the deeply introspective and the existential.
Formed in Middletown, Connecticut, in 2000, the American punk rock duo Dan Barrett and Tim Macuga comprise Have a Nice Life. Their 2008 debut, Deathconsciousness, achieved cult status through grassroots online popularity rather than initial critical acclaim. While the pair operated as a duo for years, they expanded their creative process in 2017 by integrating their live touring ensemble into the recording sessions for their third studio album, Sea of Worry.
