The core of their identity lies in the interplay between a Korg KR-55 drum machine and prominent, driving basslines, topped with the distinctive, monotone baritone vocals of Yves Kulyk. Their 1981 debut EP, featuring 'Demain Berlin', became a foundational text for the genre, influencing a generation of darkwave and minimal synth artists.
