Formed in Olympia in 1999, the American band Gossip blends disco, indie rock, and post-punk influences. The group currently features vocalist Beth Ditto and drummer Hannah Blilie. Throughout their career, they have released several studio albums, including the breakthrough 2006 record Standing in the Way of Control and their 2024 release, Real Power. After a brief hiatus, the band continues to perform and record under the Back Yard Recordings label.
