Emilie Autumn is an American singer-songwriter, violinist, and author known for her unique blend of classical, dark cabaret, industrial, and folk music. Her eclectic style, which she labels as Victoriandustrial, draws heavy inspiration from history and literature. Based in California, she began violin training as a child and now performs with the backup dance troupe The Bloody Crumpets, integrating theatrical elements, burlesque, and electronica into her stage productions.
