Matthew Robert Cooper, the American ambient musician known as Eluvium, creates atmospheric soundscapes from his home in Portland, Oregon. Originally from Tennessee and raised in Kentucky, Cooper eventually moved to the Pacific Northwest to further his career. He releases his studio albums through the record label Temporary Residence Limited, frequently collaborating with artist Jeannie Paske, whose photography and illustrations often accompany his musical projects.
