Edelweiss is a contemporary psychedelic rock project originating from Hungary, formed in 2018. The project is characterized by a prolific output and a distinct sonic identity rooted in lo-fi production, noise rock, and experimental psych.

Unlike the Austrian dance act or the German metal band of the same name, this Edelweiss focuses on a 'garage-psych' aesthetic that prioritizes texture and atmosphere over pop structures. Their sound is defined by heavily processed guitars, submerged vocals, and a rhythmic foundation that draws from krautrock and post-punk. Since their debut, they have released a steady stream of albums including 'Yeast of the Mind' and 'Behind Our Masks', establishing a cult following within the underground psychedelic scene.
