Formed in Vancouver in 1999, the Canadian post-grunge band Default achieved significant commercial success, selling over one million records and earning a Juno Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year. Led by vocalist Dallas Smith, the group gained mainstream attention with their hit single Wasting My Time. Despite a hiatus beginning in 2013, the band reunited in 2018 for touring, remaining one of the top-selling Canadian acts of their era.
