Heavy, percussive acoustic rock that brings the grit of grunge into a dark, organic forest. Intense baritone vocals meet intricate, earthy guitar work.
Formed in 1995 in Charlestown, Indiana, the American alternative rock band Days of the New began as a teenage acoustic project led by Travis Meeks. The group, which later moved to Louisville, Kentucky, achieved significant success with hits like "Touch, Peel and Stand," which Billboard named the greatest mainstream rock song of all time. Throughout their career, the band featured various musicians, including members who later formed the group Tantric.
