Born in Atlanta, Thomas DeCarlo Callaway-Burton, professionally known as CeeLo Green, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, producer, and actor. He first gained recognition in 1991 as a member of the hip-hop group Goodie Mob. Green later established a successful solo career and achieved international acclaim as part of the duo Gnarls Barkley. His diverse musical style incorporates elements of soul, contemporary R&B, funk, and gospel across multiple major record labels.
