Cdatakill is the primary alias of Denver-based producer Zak Roberts, a veteran of the North American extreme electronic scene. Transitioning from the high-velocity speedcore of his early AK-47 project, Roberts launched Cdatakill in the late 1990s to explore a more nuanced, albeit still aggressive, sonic palette.

His work is a cornerstone of the 'rhythmic noise' and 'breakcore' crossover, characterized by intricate drum programming that mirrors the complexity of IDM while maintaining the visceral impact of industrial music. Roberts was a key figure in the DIY digital hardcore movement, co-founding Dtrash Records before moving toward the more atmospheric and structured compositions found on labels like Ad Noiseam.
