Formed in 2007 in Fort Collins, Colorado, the dream pop group Candy Claws features founding members Ryan Hover, Karen Hover, and Hank Bertholf. Following their 2015 breakup, the band gained significant recognition for their album Ceres & Calypso in the Deep Time. After reuniting in 2023, the trio returned to the studio to record Distortion Spear, marking their first new musical release in ten years.
