Aggressive, heart-on-sleeve rap that collides with the raw energy of pop-punk. Cathartic anthems for the lonely, the misunderstood, and the restless.
Call Me Karizma sounds like the internal monologue of a generation raised on both Warped Tour and SoundCloud rap. It is music that lives in the friction between genres, pairing the rhythmic urgency of trap with the melodic angst of 2000s emo. The production is sharp and confrontational, often featuring distorted guitars that cut through heavy 808s, creating a soundscape that feels both modern and nostalgic.
What truly sets him apart is the uncompromising honesty of his delivery. There is a specific nasal, almost sneering quality to his vocals that conveys a sense of defiance against the world, even when the lyrics are at their most vulnerable. He doesn't just talk about pain; he weaponizes it into hooks that demand to be shouted back. It is the sound of someone processing their darkest impulses in real-time without a filter.
For those new to his catalog, starting with the Gloomy Tapes series offers the best look at his evolution from a rapper into a multi-faceted alternative artist. It captures the transition from clever wordplay to the full-throated, genre-blurring anthems that have defined his recent years. It is perfect for anyone who needs to feel less alone in their own head.
