Formed in 1993, cali≠gari is the definitive architect of the 'angura-kei' (underground style) within the broader Visual Kei movement. Their sound identity is built on a foundation of 'eroguro' - a Japanese cultural aesthetic focusing on the erotic, the grotesque, and the nonsensical.
