Mississippi-born rapper and producer Justin Lewis Scott, professionally known as Big K.R.I.T., emerged in 2005. His music blends Southern, conscious, and dirty south hip-hop styles. After signing with Def Jam in 2010, he achieved early success with his single Country Shit. Following two Billboard-charting albums with the label, he launched his own imprint, Multi Alumni, in 2017 to independently release his subsequent projects, including 4eva Is a Mighty Long Time.
