Jonas Erik Altberg, professionally known as Basshunter, is a Swedish singer, songwriter, producer, and DJ. Emerging from Halmstad, he gained recognition for his bass-heavy Eurodance style. Since beginning his production career at seventeen, he has released five studio albums and collaborated with international labels like Warner Music and Ultra Records. His work has earned several accolades, including the Music Moves Europe Award and the Eurodanceweb Award, spanning genres from techno to pop.
