Formed in 2014 by Angus Dowling and Jack Crowther, Byron Bay-based Babe Rainbow blends psychedelic rock, soft rock, and pop. The ensemble, which includes Elliot O'Reilly, Lu-Lu Felix Domingo, and Miles Myjavec, draws inspiration from 1960s aesthetics and surf culture. After debuting with a self-titled album produced alongside King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, the group achieved commercial success with their 2018 record Double Rainbow, which reached the ARIA Albums Chart.
