Formed in England in 1981, Asia is a progressive rock supergroup featuring members John Wetton, Geoff Downes, Carl Palmer, and Sam Coulson. The band achieved massive commercial success with their 1982 self-titled debut, which topped charts globally and became the highest-selling album in the United States that year. Signed to Geffen Records, the group is best known for their hit single Heat of the Moment, which reached international chart success.
