Antarctigo Vespucci is a collaborative project between two pillars of the modern DIY punk and indie scenes: Chris Farren (Fake Problems) and Jeff Rosenstock (Bomb the Music Industry!) Formed in 2014, the duo serves as a playground for their shared love of power pop and high-fidelity production, moving away from the more abrasive elements of their primary projects.
Their sound is characterized by Farren's melodic sensibilities and 'perfect pop song' structures, which are then 'deconstructed and built back up' by Rosenstock's maximalist production style. This often includes layers of synthesizers, glockenspiels, and dense vocal harmonies that recall The Beach Boys or Weezer.
