Amanda Palmer is an American musician, songwriter, and performance artist known for her work in alternative rock. Formerly the lead vocalist for the Dresden Dolls, she has performed with Evelyn Evelyn and the Grand Theft Orchestra. Palmer gained prominence as a pioneer in music crowdfunding. Recently, she has faced legal allegations regarding negligence in human trafficking involving her estranged husband, Neil Gaiman, which she has formally denied.
