Formed in Perth, Scotland, in 2004, Alestorm is a folk and power metal band signed to Napalm Records. The group, featuring Christopher Bowes, Gareth Murdock, Peter Alcorn, Máté Bodor, Elliot Vernon, and Dani Evans, is widely recognized for their distinct pirate-themed music. Since their 2008 debut, the band has released six studio albums, building a reputation within the heavy metal scene for their unique thematic approach and energetic sound.
