Born Ricardo Valdez Valentine Jr., the American singer and songwriter known as 6LACK blends alternative and contemporary R&B with trap, cloud rap, industrial, and soul influences. After rising to prominence with his 2016 hit "Prblms," he signed with LVRN and Interscope Records. His Grammy-nominated debut, Free 6lack, achieved platinum status, followed by his 2018 album East Atlanta Love Letter, which reached number three on the Billboard 200 chart.
