Intro

Imagine the quintessential 90s Ibiza beach club experience distilled into three-minute pop gems. 2 Eivissa captures that specific intersection of Eurodance energy and Balearic house sunshine, defined by bright piano chords, driving 4/4 rhythms, and vocals that oscillate between soulful belting and playful, rhythmic chanting. It is music that refuses to acknowledge the existence of winter or bad moods.

What sets them apart is the 'Team 33' production signature: a glossy, high-fidelity sheen that made their tracks stand out on FM radio and club systems alike. While many of their contemporaries leaned into the harder, more aggressive side of techno-pop, 2 Eivissa maintained a breezy, melodic accessibility. They utilized vocal layering and staccato synth stabs to create a sense of constant, forward-moving momentum.

Start with 'Oh La La La' to hear the definitive 1997 summer anthem that put them on the map. From there, dive into the 'Are You Ready?' album for a masterclass in late-era Eurodance that bridges the gap between the 90s club scene and the more polished vocal house of the early 2000s.

2 Eivissa were a Eurodance group from Hamburg, Germany. They are known for their 1997 hit single, "Oh La La La", which landed on the charts in several countries, and peaked at number 13 in the UK Singles Chart in November 1997. 2 Eivissa were produced by Team 33, a Hamburg, Germany based music production company. Most tracks were written and produced by Ambrogio Crotti, Luigi Ricco and David Lacera. The group was originally fronted by singers Terri Bjerre and Melannie Molinnus on the first album. Bjerre, was the lead vocalist of the band, who later pursued a solo career as Terri B!. Bjerre was replaced by Jobel (Lian Ross) as vocalist in 1999. However, the live act was fronted by Jane and Francine (aka 2 Blond Bandits) until 2000. The project was stopped in 2005. The 2 Eivissa project was resurrected in 2007, in the song "Hot Summer Night (Oh La La La)" by David Tavaré, using a vocal sample from "Oh La La La".
