Transcend Into Ferocity

Released in 2004 on Neurotic Records, Transcend Into Ferocity represents a pivotal moment for Visceral Bleeding and the Swedish death metal scene at large. While many of their countrymen were leaning into melodic death metal or old-school revivalism, Visceral Bleeding looked toward the technical brutality of the US scene (Suffocation, Deeds of Flesh) and refined it with a uniquely European sense of structural efficiency.
