Released in 1990, To the Gory End is the debut studio album by British death metal pioneers Cancer. Recorded at the legendary Morrisound Recording in Tampa, Florida, and produced by Scott Burns, the album bridges the gap between the burgeoning UK extreme scene and the established Florida death metal sound. The record features backing vocals from Obituary's John Tardy, further cementing its cross-continental influence.
