Time Out

Released in 1988, Time Out is the debut studio album by Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi. While Einaudi is now synonymous with a highly accessible, emotive brand of neoclassical music, this early work reveals his roots in the avant-garde and post-modern movements of the late 20th century. Recorded during a period when he was still heavily influenced by his teacher Luciano Berio, the album leans into the structural rigors of minimalism.
