The Bears for Lunch

Released in late 2012, The Bears for Lunch marked the third full-length album from the reunited 'classic' lineup of Guided by Voices within a single calendar year. Following Let's Go Eat the Factory and Class Clown Spots a UFO, this record is widely considered the most cohesive and 'fleshed out' of the reunion trilogy. Sonically, it bridges the gap between the extreme lo-fi of the mid-90s and the more polished 'pro' sound of Robert Pollard's later solo work.
