Tabula Rasa

Released in 1984 on ECM Records, Tabula Rasa served as the international introduction to Arvo Pärt’s revolutionary 'tintinnabuli' composition style. After a period of creative silence and study of early music, Pärt emerged with a sound that rejected the complexity of the avant-garde in favor of radical simplicity. The album features world-class collaborators including Gidon Kremer, Keith Jarrett, and the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra.
