Scream Aim Fire

Released in 2008, Scream Aim Fire represents a significant stylistic shift for Bullet for My Valentine, moving away from the 'Dropped C' metalcore of their debut toward a more traditional 'D Standard' thrash metal sound. The recording process was famously interrupted by lead singer Matt Tuck's tonsillectomy, which fundamentally altered the vocal landscape of the record; the resulting decrease in screaming forced the band to focus on melodic vocal layering and technical guitar work.
