Released in 2010, Postcards From a Young Man represents the Manic Street Preachers' tenth studio outing and a deliberate pivot toward a 'heavy metal Motown' aesthetic. Following the stark, harrowing intensity of Journal for Plague Lovers, the band sought to create their most commercial and melodic record since the late 1990s.
