Loveseat

Released in 2024, Loveseat serves as the second full-length studio album from Still Woozy (Sven Gamsky). Following the success of his debut 'If This Isn't Nice, I Don't Know What Is', this record further refines his idiosyncratic blend of indie pop and psychedelic soul. Recorded primarily in his home studio, the album maintains the 'bedroom pop' ethos while exhibiting a more sophisticated grasp of arrangement and song structure. Gamsky continues to utilize his primary sonic fingerprint: pitch-shifted instrumentation that creates a 'warped' or 'melting' effect, achieved through analog tape emulation and unique signal chains. Critically, the album was noted for its consistency and its ability to balance playful, upbeat tracks like 'Shotput' with more introspective moments like 'Rid of Me'.
